About Slot Hounds

What Slot Hounds is
Slot Hounds is a slot-spotting hobby. Hounds keep a life list of every slot game they find on Las Vegas casino floors: the Strip, Downtown, the locals casinos, and out to Laughlin, Mesquite, Primm, Jean and Pahrump. Every spot adds to your list and counts toward badges, and the games you're hunting go on the pack's wanted board so other hounds can help find them. It's free, and spotting never needs a bet.
Your list is private unless you choose to share it. Every spot also helps the next hound: it shows where a game is on the floor.
It started with two people who kept driving across town for a game that had already been pulled, and it is run as an independent project by And Beyond Apps, LLC.
Where the information comes from
Hounds' spots and floor reports come first. Slot Hounds also gathers publicly available information about which games are on which floors, with the help of AI. Every listing is tied to its source and date. How we use AI.
Floor reports win. A report from someone standing at the machine counts for more than anything we read online. Photos attached to a report are credited to the name the reporter chose to show, which is an anonymous hound number unless they pick otherwise.
What the listing badges mean
- NEW first seen within the last 14 days.
- FRESH confirmed within the last 30 days.
- RECENT confirmed within the last 90 days.
- AGING confirmed within the last 180 days.
- CONFIRMED · 8 MO last confirmed longer ago than that. Casinos keep games for years, so it stays listed until there is evidence it left; games that left sit under “No longer here.”
- GONE reported removed from that floor.
The age on a badge counts from the newest confirmation, using the Las Vegas date.
Pictures
Every game gets marquee-style art drawn by the site itself from its name, maker and theme. When someone has photographed the machine on the floor, that photo is shown instead. Slot Hounds never copies official game artwork.
Meet the hounds
The noses in our logo belong to Callie, a 2½-year-old golden retriever, and Jira, a 2-year-old Bernese mountain dog. They're our official slot sniffers (honorary, unpaid, and very good girls).
